Let's talk about @PinkNews and journalism.

The staff at PN like to argue that they are journalists, while at the same time admitting that they're trans advocates. Their advocacy brings them into conflict with LGB people & their supporters on an almost daily basis. 1/9
... waxing his balls. (Before someone complains about misgendering, no woman has testicles.)

Here's how PN played the story. Instead of "waxing balls," PN described it as "gender affirming services." The only person interviewed for their story was Yaniv. They didn't... 3/9
... bother to interview any of the women accused or confirm with the BC Human Rights Tribunal. The PN story is comprised solely of Yaniv's "records," claims and framing. Any journalist would have sought "the other side" for balance. That wasn't done with this story.

The... 4/9
... story was set for a follow-up on the hearing, finding and aftermath. But none of that happened, which begs the question, "Why?"

The why may have to do with the findings of the BC Human Rights Tribunal. They dismissed Yaniv's complaint and found it to be based on... 5/9
... racial animus. Not exactly someone that PN, a member of the trans media complex, wanted to promote. Nor would they want to report on the fact that the BCHRT fined Yaniv $6,000 to be paid to the victims.

Of course, Yaniv didn't immediately pay the judgement. Yaniv... 6/9
... sought to file another complaint (12/19) with the BCHRT but it was refused because of Yaniv's outstanding debt. The complaint had to do with @Fraserhealth in BC not providing Yaniv with gynecological gender affirming services.

Instead of reporting the story, PN chose... 7/9
... to spike it. That makes PN writers out to be people who report pro-trans stories and then bin the decidedly negative stories about trans rights extremists like Jonathan "Jessica" Yaniv. That's not LGBT journalism, that's trans propagandizing. No doubt PN will get... 8/9
... another award from @stonewalluk for their "Safeguarding from Bad Stories About Trans Bullies" this year.

A real journalism outfit would never leave themselves open for this type of criticism, if only by adhering to the traditional standards and practices of journalism. 9/9
