In the Haggadah I use for Passover, this is written:
"Passover has a message for the conscience and heart of all mankind. It commemorates the deliverance of a people from cruel and inhuman tyranny."
Passover is no longer only about the Jewish people, for many people suffer.
1/
"We speak tonight not just of Pharoah, but of other tyrants and tyrannies as well. We speak
Of the tyranny of poverty
And the tyranny of probation
Of the tyranny of wealth
And the tyranny of war
Of the tyranny of power
And the tyranny of despair
2/
"To all these tyrannies do we address ourselves this evening. Passover brands all these tyrannies as abominations in the sight of God."

There are some who would brand this thread as virtue signaling.

I welcome their mockery. Where I come from, virtue is a positive attribute.
