First, that was last summer when he came out for the grand opening of a senior apartment complex. He & I haven't seen each other in a few weeks. We both know we need to #StayHomeMN. 2/

Coincidentally, since we're supposed to be on break this week, I was scheduled to go in tomorrow, and I'm very sad to miss it for several reasons. Srsly, the big reason is my longtime stylist, Stephanie, who works hard, cares so much for her clients, and is mom to 3 boys. 3/

We've been in touch about rescheduling, and I can't wait to see her and see how she's doing. And give her an extra big tip for the lost business. (I'm good at trimming my own bangs and I'm blessed with late-graying genes from both parents, but this will get rough....) 4/

I know @GovTimWalz is paying attention to the data we've seen around the world and the U.S. to make decisions that will save lives and protect our precious health care system and front line health care professionals. We have to take care of them so they can take care of us. 5/

We also see that communities that end their #StayHome and other mitigation measures too soon prolong the effects on their economies. Our economy can't rebound until people feel safe going to work and returning to their normal activities. 6/

Believe me, I'm as attached to my salon schedule as any other middle-aged woman! But I also know that I'm helping stop the spread of this disease by trimming my own bangs & researching root touch-up products. Protecting others is a much bigger priority than my hair. 7/
