My lady, our 7 pets, and I just went thru a pretty wild weather situation. Tornado siren went off and all that.

My first time experiencing such a thing out here in Indiana.

A threadtime story.

Obviously that was titled the “Oh shit; this is real phase of the evening”

This next phase is called, “we just rounded up the animals, let me get one last look around this house that I love, if this is the end of it”... Listen to that wind and hail

We hunkered down in the basement.. I was peppering my lady w/ questions about how this works.. she’s an Indiana Native, she’s been there done that with all of this.

“In Twister, I seent a cow fly, is that gonna happen here tonight?”

She didn’t love my line of questions but;

We got thru the 10 minutes of hail and wind and thoughts of our house getting picked up into the sky and swept away. Quite a bonding experience for our whole zoo here.

Releasing the cats from there room was fun

My 3 legged cat Scootsie is a boss.. she operates on her own time. She was found under a deck with a busted back leg.. she’s a savage, but very independent.

Little celebration sesh with some catnip for the felines

We all came back upstairs to see the damage.. house is all good thankfully. I had never been in the purple section of a Doppler before. Wild.
