Soft #xicheng thought:
Lan Xichen gives many excuses to Jiang Cheng to visit Lotus Pier. One of the most often used reason is "I want to paint (a certain part of Lotus Pier)" or "I want to try the food from (Auntie who's selling a specific food)" and since there's a lot of places
and food to try and paint, Lan Xichen always has a reason to visit.
Little did Jiang Cheng know that he's seriously documenting things through his artworks and musings. He wants to give the scrolls to Jiang Cheng later on as a courtship gift. He wants the Jiang Sect Leader that
he is more than willing to know his home, his people and he wants the information to be passed on to the future disciples of the Jiang sect. That is why he is diligent in taking note of all these details.

Imagine the day that Lan Xichen thinks he's got a considerable amount of
information and artwork to share, he writes Jiang Cheng a formal letter stating that he would like to "request Sect Leader Jiang to attend to his visit personally"
And he'd be bringing a box of scrolls along with some other things from Cloud Recesses that he thinks Jiang Cheng
will appreciate.
When Jiang Cheng opens the scrolls, he will gasp at how beautifully drawn the scenes are, how detailed everything is. As expected of a Lan.
"Sect Leader Jiang, these are gifts of courtship to you," Lan Xichen would say with a smile. "I hope they are acceptable."
Jiang Cheng will see how much Lan Xichen cares about Lotus Pier and he will probably blush as he says "Yes, these are acceptable, Sect Leader Lan." He might avert his eyes. But Lan Xichen will know that Jiang Cheng accepts them with all his heart.

Some sweet Xicheng.
