These are the Papo Allosaurus and Running T. rex. For some reason they are used everywhere in concept art and illustrations. They are the number one go to for artists that do not know anything about dinosaurs for reference.

Perhaps most famously used in Jurassic World concept art. They straight up just recreated the Allosaurus for the Battle at Big Rock short as well.

Even amazing illustrators like Jaime Jones, Carlo Arellano, and John Wallin Liberto have used them. The figures are wonderfully detailed but very recognizable(for their terrible inaccuracies). Not sure I have a real point here, I just wish I didn't keep seeing them pop up in art.

I guess I wish more dinosaur artists got the dinosaur jobs instead of generalists. It's a wonderful thing seeing artists that specialize in a topic do paintings of that topic. I will never be able to paint a horse as well as a person that lives and breathes horse.
