Happy Passover to all who celebrate. Much of the Grove Hall community in Roxbury/DOR. was once a JEWISH Community. Now mostly AA, Caribbean & Latino. This is the United House of Prayer, founded by a Cabo Verdean , Daddy Grace & once was Temple. We are ALL one.

Happy Passover . Every year there is A Cabo Verdean JEWISH Seder in Boston. This year it was cancelled due to Covid. It’s one of my favorite events. In my family it is said that when Jews were exiled from Spain, some were taken by the Portuguese to Africa. Cabo Verde to be exact.

Passover is a Jewish holiday that celebrates the Israelites being freed from slavery in Egypt. I have many friends and it is folklore , that I have JEWISH ancestry mixed in with my African roots. If you saw my great-grandfather you would be like , ohhhhhhh or even my mother .
