It seems there is no bottom to the lows which @DrTedros and the @WHO can sink. Tedros alleged yesterday that #Taiwan — not "Taipei and environs" — has orchestrated a "racist" campaign against him for the past three months. Because he is black.

The criticism he has faced was over Taiwan's being excluded from the @WHO; and over the WHO's refusal to take into account the intelligence Taiwanese health officials had sent to his organization in the early phases of the outbreak re: human-to-human transmission of #COVID19.

His accusations remind me of similar claims by @ICAO earlier this year of a supposedly #Taiwan-led campaign to attack the organization (Tedros even claims that Taiwan's MOFA knew and did nothing).

Tell me this, then, Mr. Tedros: During #SARS in 2003, when the @WHO was AGAIN failing to work with #Taiwan and the Taiwanese people were understandably upset, were they being "racist" towards your predecessor, Margaret Chan, because she is Asian? Give me a break.

Poor Dr. Tedros is playing the victim card to hide the fact that (a) his organization has, for all intents and purposes, been coopted by the #CCP; and (b) that, under his watch, the WHO has failed to fulfill its mandate. How convenient to blame #Taiwan. The WHO needs a revamp.
