I used to work near Koreatown in LA and there are two noodle dishes I loved so much that I want to make at home, but I don’t remember their nameshttps://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😭" title="Loudly crying face" aria-label="Emoji: Loudly crying face">. One was cold noodles with kimchi, and the other was a cold noodle soup in a white broth. I ordered by pointing at pictures. https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😭" title="Loudly crying face" aria-label="Emoji: Loudly crying face">https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😭" title="Loudly crying face" aria-label="Emoji: Loudly crying face">
I also made friends with the servers at one of the establishments I went to twice a week bc the cook was Salvadoran and learned Korean. We would always talk and he would translate when they had some downtime. I miss those types of interactions now.
