when they say “suspending his campaign” they LITERALLY mean the LITERAL ACT of CAMPAIGNING. he is no longer actively campaigning for the presidency bc hes a fuckin senator & has more important shit to worry about (ie: pandemic) but he is still on the ballot! he hasnt dropped out!
even if bernie is NOT the dem nominee it is STILL a good idea to vote for him if you wanted to bc he is still collecting delegates! the more delegates he earns the more influence he has, which can allow biden to adopt some of his policies! it would still serve a good purpose!!!
i am muting this now but i’ll leave w some key points:
1. this is not about the general election, this is about the primaries.
2. you CANT “split” the vote in a primary with a projected winner.
3. if you vote for bernie it will still matter. it can still affect change.
