I'm seeing a lot of "Get in fucking line and vote Biden" posts and I'm just like... eh. I'm gonna think some things through between now and November, but honestly, I'm feeling a lot of apathy about the choice, which is never a good starting position.

I've got fatigue about voting for people that I don't agree with simply because they are running against someone I agree with less. Trump is a nightmare, but I also feel that the DNC is taking advantage of that and putting their worst foot forward and shaming you into compliance.

The apathy I'm feeling is something that I bet isn't very uncommon, and is something that I think will cause a slump in voter turnout, regardless of the practical and utilitarian arguments in favor of Biden, which I acknowledge.

The result is that we're breeding a lot of cynicism into our movements. There's obvious corruption at play, and I think many are tired of playing into it. I thought Trump would be toast in this election. Now I'm not sure.
