Something I've noticed is that the people I know who are emotionally struggling the most with COVID-19 are those who have had stable housing/food/income.

The people I know who are more calm or prepared or methodical are those who have lived through poverty and insecurity.
This is obviously anecdotal, but I feel like folks who have been through a macro trauma like poverty are already trained to handle another.
As I told my therapist today: Being poor was my training montage for a global pandemic.
Cuttin' coupons and getting real creative with foods that come in cans.
Staying home on the weekends because you can't afford to go out!
Thinking about buying in bulk but not actually having the money to buy! in! bulk!
Rationing medication!
Always planning for the worst because the worst! Will! Probably! Happennnnnnnnnnnnnn!
