The data says college-educated white women *are* moving left. They were a conservative group, but they keep voting for Democrats in bigger & bigger numbers. Does that make them radical? By no means. But it was a mistake to write off the winemoms and reach for the GamerGate sons.
Warren did well with those women. Universal childcare and student debt relief were not conservative policies. Losing this election doesn't mean losing all hope for the policies. It means trying to convince & win the people who *are* reachable instead of trying to remake the base.
Also (this thought was interrupted by putting a kid to bed) that includes a responsibility to win and convince older black voters, who are reachable and who did in fact decide the last two primaries.
