The Press Council has rejected complaints about far-right New Conservative Party candidate Dieuwe de Boer being called far-right.
Dieuwe de Boer says his movement has overlapping beliefs with the Christchurch shooter, and describes his politics as far to the right of Hitler.
He regularly appears on Australian hate-monger Tim "Pinochet did nothing wrong" Wilms's podcast.
Dieuwe de Boer helped a neo-Nazi accelerationist group, the Dominion Movement, organise security for the Lauren Southern and Stefan Molyneux tour.
He has promoted and attended anti-Muslim rallies in which open Nazis abused Muslims and former refugees.
Unfortunately the @radionz article on de Boer's police raid took his versions of events at face value, and the inaccuracies in the article are all supplied by de Boer himself. Journalists need to learn that the alt-right will lie at every given opportunity. That's how they work.
