Also the reason I love Wangji so much is literally just the scene where he finds Wei skiving off by the waterfall and drags him away wordlessly by the arm to the library
I do love that the cultivators are kinda like tv paranormal investigators and Wei is like the actual demonologist with the PhD coming in behind them
