I hope I never touch sunscreen

Feel bad for people who didn't spend the summers of their early twenties working at outdoor gig never wearing sunscreen and therefore never developing an impenetrable and permanent base tan.

I spent two summers outside almost the entire time with my only protection from the sun being shirts shorts shoes and a hat (you must always protect your scalp of course)

Do not listen to """scientists""" telling you the base tan is a myth. It is very real, but like anything good and worth having it takes a lot of time and must be acquired slowly. Trying to get a base tan in a tanning bed is like trying to make great BBQ in the microwave.

Lol at the first google result for "base tan myth" being an article telling you to use sunscreen frequently and liberally written by the "Mayo" Clinic lmao.

This is the only thing I am willing to ever risk being owned by Twitter's advance-search for btw. Feel free to bookmark this thread. I hope I never touch sunscreen.
