Going to follow suit on this thread and remind all of you, especially during this difficult time, that hard work, cold emails, confidence, and persistence together will help you land your next opportunity.

Don& #39;t give up! Here& #39;s my short story: https://twitter.com/JuiceboxCA/status/1225094211722260482">https://twitter.com/JuiceboxC...
1/ COMMUNITY MANAGER: I found an email address on a website to a random company and cold emailed to say that I was entry level and would do any role. I added some personality to the email and landed an interview for a brand new role. Started my career at @wework making $28k https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="‼️" title="Double exclamation mark" aria-label="Emoji: Double exclamation mark">
2/ STRATEGIST: I left wework and emailed just about everyone I knew. I asked to meet up for a coffee and asked if they knew anyone hiring. A friend I had reached out to offered me a role at her company after meeting for coffee. ty @sjw <3
3/ OPERATIONS MANAGER: I got lucky, and a former member of wework whom I had worked with, referred me to my ceo at @managedbyq. The power of the network.
4/ DIRECTOR OF CX / OPERATIONS: I went to every VC& #39;s website and filled out contact forms. I asked if any of their portfolios were looking for someone with my level of experience. I applied to all of their talent networks and I got connected to a CEO through a ntwk.
5/ DIRECTOR OF CX / OPS 2: I followed the same process, but this time, I sent a cold email directly to VCs. I asked to get coffee with as many people as I could, and ask for their advice on my resume, if their portfolios were hiring, etc., and was introduced to the team at Petal.
6/ There is a lot you can do to to find a job. I didn& #39;t find any of my roles from a job board, and none of them (literally) had a job description I applied for.

First, polish your resume and your linkedin, and write a badass cold email.
Second, acknowledge the 2nd half of the process: hard work and getting creative is a critical step in finding the diamond in the rough. Believe in yourself and don& #39;t get up. Your persistence and passion will be appreciated.

You can& #39;t fail if you don& #39;t quit.https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="⭐" title="Medium star" aria-label="Emoji: Medium star">
I& #39;m by no means an expert, but feel free to message me if you& #39;d like any advice or have any Qs. I& #39;d be happy to help all of you in any way that I can! Hoping the best for you and our NYC tech community <3
