So uhhhhhh the 25th anniversary of the OKC bombing is in 11 days and they had to shut down the museum, the memorial, the annual marathon, and everything else they usually do locally. https://twitter.com/Yamiche/status/1248013330746183681
Honestly the museum itself, the national memorial (which I ain't mocking because it's literally sacred ground to me), the fence, etc. SOMEHOW lacks the sort of funding you'd expect an important location like that (part of the national park system, charges admission) to have...
The museum charges admission, that is.

There are exceptions but normies who ain't school kids from OKC gotta pay to take the massive tour.

The memorial grounds where the Murrah building used to be have always been open to the public 24/7 until recently.

4/19 is kind of A Thing
Shoutout to the time they shut down the local goddamn OKC memorial terrorism prevention center and the 9/11 memorial people laughed and refused to take the huge cringe ass patchwork a bunch of southern and midwestern volunteers made using the names of every domestic terror victim
I'll revisit this later with some writing that didn't come from my disappointment in modern American society but here's an actual pro tip: https://twitter.com/OKCNM/status/1240689964091756544?s=19
