Asked my boyfriend earlier if it would be bad to have a glass of wine and he said he assumed I’d be drunk for 3 or 4 days anyway as it was my birthday on Monday

Although I did outdo myself on my actual birthday by drinking 2 bottles of champagne to myself

As a consequence of drunk champagne buying I am now skint for the rest of the month.
