Today, @BernieSanders suspended his campaign for the presidency. He engaged young Americans on issues of importance to them. For #ArabAmerican community, this also included standing for #Palestinian human rights – an issue often the source of our political exclusion 2/3

In his run, Sen Sanders was a refreshing example of how political leaders can engage their constituencies and perhaps, more importantly, lead. His campaign helped change the political landscape on many issues, including #Palestine and for that we are grateful @BernieSanders. 3/3
