I genuinely think a lot of y'all are so crushed by Bernie's campaign ending (and this is NOT meant to censure y'all) because y'all genuinely thought he was going to be able to make all of the changes he promised. But the president can only make the changes that Congress allows

him to. Too many of Bernie's policies wouldn't have had the support of the Senate or the House because we as a people haven't been electing in progressive candidates THERE. More to the point: Bernie can still craft AND PASS laws as a senator-because legislative power lies in the

legislative branch: i.e. CONGRESS-which Bernie is a PART OF. If Bernie is serious about enacting these changes, he CAN STILL DO IT! He has several supporters within Congress-what WE can do-as a people-is support them by voting in MORE likeminded ppl. The opportunity for effective

change doesn't end or begin with Bernie-it ends and begins with us.
