Welcome to Project Protect: a fundraising campaign led by students at the University of Texas at Austin with the mission of protecting those who continuously work to protect us during this COVID-19 pandemic. Project Protect is fundraising for a humanitarian aid organization—

(2/4) called direct relief. Direct relief is active in all 50 states of America and more than 80 countries, with a mission to improve the health and lives of people affected by poverty or emergencies – without regard to politics, religion, or ability to pay. They are providing

(3/4) face masks, gloves, and other PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) to healthcare workers on the frontlines of this global pandemic. We chose to fundraise for Direct Relief not only because we believe in their mission, but also because the Direct Relief Donation Policy

(4/4) ensures that 100% of all proceeds are used towards COVID-19 response. We truly believe that it is unfair for healthcare workers to have to fear the safety of themselves and their families due to a lack of protective equipment, and we hope that you will support our mission!
