1/ I'm making a thread of the OSS (now CIA) 1943 "Analysis of the Personality of Adolf Hitler" with screen shots compared with Trump's personality. It will be an easy read, the first 20+ pages describing Hitler's psych-profile with highlights by moi. We're in deep, America.

2/ Imagine instead of "Hitler" the analysis is of "Trump"; in place of "German people" insert "Trump supporters.

4/ Remember that this analysis was written by the US OSS, the pre-cursor to the CIA, before anyone knew how WW II would end. It was critical that US Intelligence was on top of how mentally tortured & dangerous Hitler was. We face the same dangers today, IMO.

5/ I'm only going to post part of the First Section of the Contents, which is 50+ pages well worth reading, & you have the link if you're so inclined.

7/ This is Section 1, sub-section A. Note: I won't be underlining on the rest of the pages I'm posting as they are underlined in the report itself. (The type is hard to read in places, but it was 1943 & actual typewriters were a thing.)

8/ This description is spot on to everything we've seen in Trump's behavior for 4 years now.

9/ They may as well have been analyzing Trump and his base: "...the man has succeeded in getting a large proportion...to believe that he is superior...divinely appointed...he is never wrong and...must be followed with blind obedience, come what may."

10/ Re: Some issues here are consistent with Trump, others present in differing degrees & situations. But keep reading....

11/ Stormy said Trump asked her to spank him: masochism. His heritage was poor before coming to America. And there's that racism....

12/ Germ phobia; perhaps it wasn't known by OSS at the time, but Hitler preferred teens for girlfriends, & even lived with his teen cousin, who committed suicide. Trump has sexual abnormalities, though: he violently assaults teens & women to feel superior.

13/ We're so dumbed down, no eloquence of speech necessary for Trump to accomplish this, but it is true he captures his cult with speeches. Look at that last paragraph: "He is the incarnation of the crowd's unspoken need & cravings...invented, by the people of..." America.

14/ Whew! Tantrums; "...when he is over come...he will collapse suddenly and completely...as an utter wreck..." (that happened); and revenge. Check; we'll see; & check.

15/ The Freudian stuff is above my pay-grade, but it makes sense as speculated. It has been said by many of Trump's own cronies he needs an "enemy" to energize him, and he creates them constantly for his attacks, as well all see every day. He uses them as "red meat" for his base.

16/ Whoa! Gets heavy here: Oedipus Complex; "...cult of brutality and his many acts of inexcusable destructiveness and cruelty...homicidal compulsion...."

17/ So "homicidal compulsion" has to be vented, if not criminally (hm...) then through war or scapegoating, so, like Hitler, Trump has hit the homicidal jackpot?

Resentment, ruthless dominance & revenge, cruelty; the search for it to all be legitimized? Sound familiar?

18/ I don't think Trump has suicidal tendencies. Much of the rest clocks, though: repression of conscience, affection, & sympathy; no close personal friends & incapable of normal relationships; a life of crime.

19/ Oh, doubles down on wrong to prove he's right: "Failure is the only wrong."

Sec. 3 is scary; it ends with "suicide or mental breakdown" & I don't think Trump's suicidal so a breakdown would not end well for humanity.

Sec. 4: Projection of his perceived weaknesses on others.

20/ THIS is Trump: "treachery, lying, corruption, warmongering" projected onto others; paranoid schizophrenia; dangerous psychopath. They ask, How did Hitler not end up confined? I know this one: Hitler gained total power as he got worse thru 13 yrs. of destroying Germany.

21/ Here the comparison skews a bit: Trump always had family money & power, though a cruel, abusive father. Hitler grew up poor & weak with an abusive father.

We have insight of Trump's ruthless anger from frustration: Ivana's divorce suit. Not pretty.

Russia, too.

22/ I hope a factor to restrain Trump from reaching Hitler's self-destructive end game is he has 5 children, whom he sees carrying on his [megalomaniacal] legacy.

Another similarity I missed before: Hitler loved architecture & building grandiose monuments to himself.

23/ I read a memoir when I was young by Hitler's architect, Albert Speer: "Inside the Third Reich." It was stunning in the massive scale of Hitler's plans for a city of imposing, stark, but mostly empty space meant to intimidate with historic grandiosity.

25/ Again some diversion: Trump is more sexual brute, according to his victims, than mashochist; sexual assault is about domination & power. Gay relations? No idea.

But there is a book called "Fear" about Trump's stated belief in fear as the means for control.
