Why I reckon we should be super hesitant to delay the election:

I'm wary of special pleading, and intentions don't count for shit, especially when the precedent is being cited next time
Delaying elections until the emergency is over is literally the police state playbook, so even if it is 'justified under these specific circumstances', that's what they all say.
We don't know what the situation will be in six months. Some parts of the country may be in lockdown. What proportion of the country needing extraordinary voting methods would justify calling off the election?
ie, if 30% of the country being in lockdown would justify cancelling the election, why not 20, or 10?

It could easily become the election will happen when we are clear, and that will make the decision around lockdown explicitly political. Which seems a bit too police statey
So I'm undecided and open to arguments but for me delaying the election should be a last resort and backed by hard rules about what conditions they will happen under, rather than just 'it's not ideal right now so let's wait til it is'
