I’m seeing a lot of hate on Luke for pushing his album back so let me spit some facts:

(Disclaimer: every artist is different. Some artists may choose to do different things and there isn’t a right or wrong way to respond to this)

A) Luke’s album release is usually always paired with a ton of fan events for release week. He obviously can’t do that right now. Can you really blame him for wanting to release an album when he can properly celebrate it with his fans?

B) His album was slated to be released when they are predicting this virus is going to hit its peak in cases and deaths. He is not the only one to move his release from April 24th. He most likely didn’t feel right releasing and celebrating something new at this time.

C) His albums also came with preorder packages...many different kinds. You have to take into the consideration that it might not be safe for his team to ship those. Sure, he could delay just those shipping but either way, people were gonna be upset
