It& #39;s very frustrating to wake up from working my 10th day straight during a pandemic, which was caused by the ineptitude & cruelty of our leadership, to see a bunch of privileged (mostly white) people exclaiming they will never vote for Joe Biden because he is not Bernie Sanders.
Did we not learn from what happened last time? Do you really think we would be in the mess we& #39;re in right now if we had President Clinton? If all of those Bernie or bust people had voted for Hilary instead of Jill Stein or staying home?
It is the epitome of privilege to refuse to vote for Biden because he isn& #39;t your chosen candidate. A lot of you may be fine regardless of who the president is, but there are so many vulnerable people who will be infinitely worse off with 4 more years of Trump.
Part of being an adult means you can& #39;t always get what you want. I wanted Elizabeth Warren to win. I haven& #39;t been throwing a temper tantrum because she isn& #39;t the nominee. Grow the fuck up and do your civic duty.
This hyperbole about Biden being the lesser of two evils is ridiculous. Sure we may not get medicare for all with Biden, but Trump has been gutting the ACA piece by piece for years. So yay I guess? Come on. There is a big difference between them and y& #39;all fucking well know it.
I& #39;m going back to work now to a hospital overrun with coronavirus, again, thanks to Trump. If you do not do everything in your power to vote blue this November, you are complicit in rewarding his disgusting presidency. And the blood on his hands will be on yours as well.
