Blackpink broke into America without even trying. Seriously. America automatically opened up to them and let them in and they won’t change up anytime soon with another kpop girlgroup that doesn’t appeal to them or is trying hard to break into the USA and get their attention.
Americans like sticking to one girlgroup or one boygroup at a time here. Like fifth harmony and one direction were the only groups big in the USA in the 2010’s. And now it’s Blackpink and BTS.
If you don’t appeal to the gp here in America they’ll just ignore you and move on.
I’m not dragging any group here. I’m just saying your faves can sign to the biggest music labels in America, and have the best promotion here for a kpop group, but if they don’t catch the American gp’s attention/interest when they debut here, it will all be a waste of time.
