Changes this week.

No.1

I have a doffing station in my hall

I come in the door

Empty pockets into dirty box

Wash hands

Sterilize items 1 by 1 and transfer to clean box

Strip bare

Place scrubs in sealed bin

Get straight in shower

No.2

I've stopped using hospital water fountains, drink only water from home

I wear my lanyard under my scrubs

I bring cutlery from home

I wipe down my coffee cup with an alcohol wipe before putting it to my lips

I've stopped taking elevator

No.3

I turn to face wall when people pass

I've mastered not touching my face for ANY REASON

I moisturize now my face is raw from shaving (face mask won't work with beard)

Sarted using FFP for non GA procedures in case they're coverted mid surgery so I don't have to scrub out

No.4

Spent an hour wiping down all groceries from @lidl_ireland

Not sleeping as well as I would like, concerned for friends and colleagues.

Reassured my hospital had time to make some changes before the surge hits.

The marathon feeling has really hit.
