I’ve had this theory that Saudi Arabia/UAE have been secretly planning to unite against the United States, since the US is no longer dependent on SA oil & it’s one of our primary exports now, SA likely recognized they could only be seen as competition now & therefore a liability.

Now I just learned that the US is now pissed at Abu Dhabi for releasing 700 million in assets to Iran. The UAE and Iran have not been allies outside of maintaining diplomatic “let’s not blow each other up talks”. And the UAE has always been loyal to the US so this is a slap.

So it looks like there’s this coalition building in the Middle East to unite against the US before they finish decimating the last economic competitors in the region.

Also, Saudi Arabia and Iran had finally negotiated a sit down and Soleimani was allegedly in Iraq to discuss the meeting when he was assassinated.
