Trump and Biden are not the same.

If Trump wins, our political system will remain bought and paid for by the fossil fuel industry for 4 more years. Guaranteed.

With Biden, we at least have a fighting chance for that not to happen. That’s a chance to save millions of lives.

This isn’t supposed to make you feel good. This shit blows. But it’s the reality. We no longer have the luxury of enthusiasm. The climate crisis is real. The next four years are crucial. Millions of lives are on the line. Whether Trump or Biden sits in the White House matters.

We will all have to keep working to hold the next president accountable, whoever it is. The difference is whether or not we have a president who’s movable.

I, for one, will never stop being a huge pain in Biden’s motherfucking ass about climate change. I hope you don’t either.

Who takes more? Who has more oil industry advisers? Who has more climate deniers talking directly in their ear? Who has more pro-climate voices in their circle to counter them?
