About those improved IHME numbers -- did anyone else notice that they have Illinois down as having had one death yesterday when we had over 80 folks die in our state? Am I missing something?
Seems like that could skew the projections a bit. I think it was noticeable that when Gov. Pritzker was asked about the improved numbers, he talked around it, saying that sometimes IL scientists agree w changes in the modelling and sometimes they don& #39;t.
I& #39;m not a scientist, so maybe something& #39;s just lost on me here, but it looks like this says only 1 person died yesterday in IL, which is false, so I& #39;m not trusting the improved projection yet. If someone gets something I don& #39;t about this, pls let me know. https://covid19.healthdata.org/united-states-of-america/illinois">https://covid19.healthdata.org/united-st...
It kind of looks that way, because I& #39;m pretty sure that& #39;s the only place you will find the number 1 in any recent state COVID-19 data in Illinois. https://twitter.com/Distopos/status/1247986746182250497?s=20">https://twitter.com/Distopos/...
Here are some other concerns about this particular modeling from someone who knows what they& #39;re talking about far more than I do. https://twitter.com/CT_Bergstrom/status/1247645708741566465?s=20">https://twitter.com/CT_Bergst...
