The #WWE truly exists within a duality. They are, both at the same time, the best and worst at what they do. When they make the most out of a stars potential, they become the biggest stars in the industry and when they fail to do so it's glaringly obvious to those watching... 1/
That they are letting those stars languish and wasting talent that could otherwise be doing something entertaining and engaging for the fans. This is why there is such a divide when it comes to the #WWE product. Two sets of fans that mostly can only see one side of the coin. 2/
One side that sees the creative handling that reared the best of all time, the Hogan's, the Hart's, the Austin's, the Rock's, the Cena's, the Bryan's, the Reigns' and all of those in between. The other side sees every single ball that they perceive the #WWE to have dropped. 3/
They see the lot of Zack Ryder after his hard work, they see Cesaro and Rusev's positions compared to their peaks in popularity, they witnessed the rise and quick fall of Nakamura on the WWE main roster. Hopes they have for wrestlers being crushed by the #WWE time and again. 4/
This makes them jaded when it comes to the stars the #WWE are giving a spotlight to and are showcasing, talents that are also hard working but to those viewing the product from the other side of the duality see as preordained, undeserving, chosen. They become unwilling...5/
To see the greatness of those talents because the talent that the company "failed" worked just as hard, or so it seemed. The guys that are getting pushed are just "company guys", they didn't "earn it", they were just lucky. It creates an impossible situation for the #WWE. 6/
For example as well as Drew is being received online as Champ, we do not know how quickly this will change when crowds being to fill the arenas again, how many will decide that it should have been x, y or z who should have had his spot. How many will say " #WWE chosen guy". 7/
It's going to take a lot to remedy this but hopefully now that the championships aren't on part timers they can work on changing these perceptions for the better. The #WWE needs to do everything they can to end this duality for their own good, to start having more...8/
For their undercard to do and sink their teeth into even if they aren't necessarily the guys that they plan on pushing to the upper echelon at that moment in time. The #WWE exists in a duality of the highest highs and the lowest lows, the best and worst...9/
Changing these perceptions and bringing their fanbase closer to the one "universe" they envision it as is one of the most important things the #WWE could ever do in it's search to regain acceptance of the wider wrestling culture AND maintain it's foothold with the casual fan. 10/
The #WWE must strive to become singular. Remarkable. Great.
