ok y’all. i’ve never made an expose thread (or really a thread at all) but i’m spilling all of the tea.

so basically this all started a little over a week ago when a gc was made just so people can talk about bts and stuff going on in their lives
at the start everyone was very nice and would share stories about themselves so we can get to know each other better. one girl in particular (once @ot7violett) seemed to have the perfect life. she would share everything about her life to us saying she lived
in the outskirts of New York City living a lavish life with her various pets. she had a mom (36 years old) and a dad who owned 2 dental offices, a bar, and a bowling alley.
she was the 3rd sibling of 5 including a baby brother (which we will get to later on). because of her parents success she was able to buy all of the bts albums in all versions and was able to score at least 6 concert tickets for bts’ upcoming north american tour.
violett had friend group of at least 3 girls (layla, taylor, and emily) as well as multiple korean males (one named chai). from this friend group violett had a korean-american boyfriend, conner. at first violett would send ss if dm between the two through instagram
showing how he can speak korean and saying how they would move to korea together after high school. the most alarming thing about these statements is that they were not only minors (15 and 16) but they had only met in February of 2020. side tracking away from conner a little bit,
violett sent us a lot of edits that she claimed to make through after effects cc, on further reflection we realised one was taken from this video (2:13). as an editor who makes the same kinds of edits she claimed to make, it saddens me to see this because
these edits can take hours and sometimes days to make so having all of your hard work stolen and claimed to be someone else’s is a big no-no in the video editing community. and trust me i know because my work had been stolen before too. going back to more of the drama starring
violett and conner, a member of the group chat made a separate korean studying chat so people could learn korean and help others. The admin ( @kimsockiejin) had told everyone in the gc to keep conversation to a minimum so that the gc could be used to share resources and ask
questions without being buried in conversation. As soon as Violett was added, she immediately started spamming the gc, telling stories about her Conner. When reminded me a member, Violett went back to the main gc and sent screenshots of the private conversation,
saying that aforementioned member and admin hated her. she later added conner to the main group chat (who we later found out was fake)

Violett claimed to have broken the rules of quarantine in NYC to see her friend Taylor, sending a picture of two girls. NYC has some of the most cases in the world so its dangerous

A week or so later her lies became more elaborate. Posting non-stop pictures of her animals (guinea pigs, dog, kittens, horse), her Korean friend Chai (who she was trying to set us up with) and her baby brother.

When finally confronted about what happened one of her first resorts was to say she wanted to end her life. Therefore, in case Violett is some semblance of a real person, we have decided to not reveal the pictures of herself that she supplied us with. However, during this time it

there are instances that don’t really relate to lying but where she would stir up trouble. this including defending oli london, talking about bts e-word, conner e-word (even though he is not a korean citizen), chase hudson saying the n-word, etc.
there was even an instance where she reacted with the laughing face when i said i had a mental breakdown and wasn’t okay but pushed us to pity her when she said the same stuff would happen to her.
when i was pushing her to tell the truth (kinda not subtlety) i asked her to send couple pictures of her and conner. she sent a silhouette picture of a couple where the female had bangs and from pictures she previously sent us of herself she didn’t have bangs
so i questioned her on that because they had only met two months ago. she said she had cut off her bangs and gotten a new hairstyle but if you cut off bangs you are bound to have a bald spot and it couldn’t have completely grown out in less than two months so i was suspicious

multiple accounts where made by violett to match her story even a tiktok account where she would send us screen recordings of with the @ covered.
