It is possible to be mentally ill AND an asshole worthy of snark. Not all crazy people are automatically assholes just like not all alcoholics are automatically abusive fucks to the people in their lives. Grey areas exist.

Some narcissists DO have the capacity to change. Those narcissists would be non-assholes. It’s pretty simple. No matter what kind of brain chemistry you’re working with, don’t be an asshole.
