after some time reflecting there IS more ways to get involved than vote and if you're doing those instead of voting bc of this shitty outcome i think that is fine. the only thing thats bad is doing absolutely nothing at all. if you have a voice, use it in whichever way suits you.

use your privilege to lift up those who don't have it. stand out against what you see is wrong. if you feel the need to vote for biden because trump needs out of office, great. if you can't bring yourself to vote for either, great. as long as you do SOMETHING while you can.

i regret pointing blame at those choosing not to vote. the blame goes towards the system, the DNC, and those who simply do nothing at all. speak out, if your way of doing so is different than voting, go for it. make sure that everyone gets their voices heard. do your best.

my heart aches for everyone like me who has survived a sex crime and has to watch the country decide between two sex offenders. you do matter and we all need to come together and prove that everyone does. every single marginalized community matters and we won't let your voice go.

there is not one "right" way to stand up against the system. no one will ever agree on what is 100% "correct" what we need to do is stand in solidarity and do everything we have the power to. NEVER ever shut up, even if you think no ones listening. #thankyoubernie
