I thought having hot opinions made me cool, for knowing what *real* Star Trek was. I was mad that this New Star Trek was missing so much of what I loved about Star Trek.
I thought having hot opinions made me cool, for knowing what *real* Star Trek was. I was mad that this New Star Trek was missing so much of what I loved about Star Trek.
BUT THEN! I stopped being a purist and realized Star Trek is vast and sprawling, it can be a lot of things to a lot of different people, and just because it& #39;s different or I DONT PERSONALLY LIKE IT doesn& #39;t mean it *doesn& #39;t count* as Star Trek. So I watched Star Trek Beyond.

We are now well over 780 Star Trek episodes/movies, you aren& #39;t going to love everything, and that& #39;s okay! But other people will and you should let them. Star Trek at it& #39;s core is about love and the power of connections. It& #39;s about hope. As long as it has those things, it& #39;s Trek.
