@majorityfm @SamSeder @_michaelbrooks @NomikiKonst I have sleep Aponea, I use #BiPap instead of the more common #CPAP treatment. It works by assisting the lungs enough to open the airways and replicating the breathing action (not forcing it) whereas CPAP is forced constant air...
I also have an oxygen generator which feeds oxygen into the Respironics Full Face mask (see above) through the machine.

2 things.

1. This may be a possible solution to the problems the doctor you just mentioned is concerned about.

2. I and I assume thousands like me...
...replace our masks often. Not because they are deficient or are in any way damaged but because after the seal around your face gets "used to your face" it starts to leak if your face changes in any way.

They could easily be sterilized and used again by other people...
...if an amnesty of masks from sleep apnea sufferers could be organised.

I've been looking for someone to suggest this to but there is no 'in'.

Do you have contact details for the doctor you just referenced or anyone else in the medical field to check if these opitions are...
viable?

There are a lot of CPAP/BiPAP machines as well as equipment on the market.

P.S. I had pneumonia, was resuscitated, intubated, placed in an induced coma before recovering in 2014 and learnt a lot about respiratory illness but of course I'm no doctor. Just experienced.
