Wow, one of my work "friends" just told me that I am apparently "giving up" by saying there is no work and staying home. That there's "lots of work out there" (not in film) as evidenced by the fact that my partner is working.

He's fucking working in construction to put food on our table because the CERB isn't enough to pay all of our bills. And every day he's putting himself and us at risk of getting sick.

But yeah we're just giving up. I hate people sometimes.

Needless to say this person doesn't have kids (and that's fine!) but they don't understand that I can't just drop my toddler off somewhere right now while I go to work.
