A friend of mine has been messing with money trees in Animal Crossing and is consistently tripling his over 10k investments by harvesting the money the day AFTER it first appears! Apparently the secret to beating the guaranteed 10k is waiting an extra day?

Worth noting he's been experimenting with 30k. Not sure if bigger amounts require more days, but it's worth taking into account before shaking your 99k trees just in case.
