Began working on "WrestlePOP" in 2016, then the game became "Fake Fights," which I postponed earlier this year.
Was gonna scrap the game entirely, but I& #39;ve re-thought it and I will continue it, but not in the way I initially envisioned.
It& #39;s name is now "NIFE Fights."

NIFE means "National Illegal Feuds Exhibition," the name of the organization that promotes "NIFE Fights" from city-to-city. The characters from Fake Fights will all appear in NIFE Fights, but they& #39;ll no longer be wrestlers, nor will I in any way now make a *wrestling* card game.
I explained last year on Twitter that I was frustrated with wrestling fandom and no longer wanted to produce wrestling fan content. I still enjoyed certain areas of wrestling though. Now, in 2020, I have ZERO interest in wrestling. Even the good stuff does nothing for me anymore.
I want to make cartoons about interesting fighter characters and make a game that puts a spin on the standard fighting game. I can develop such projects without wrestling being attached to them, so why let this thing that now does nothing but make me groan linger around my work?
