To anyone who needs to hear it: You& #39;re no longer the person who was made to feel like they& #39;re not enough. At some point, probably when you were a kid, someone important to you didn& #39;t love you in a way that they should have for whatever reason.
Over time that& #39;s made you feel like you& #39;re not enough. That anyone who compliments you doesn& #39;t know what they& #39;re talking about, that those who speak ill of you are in the know, because that person or people when you were young wasn& #39;t there for you emotionally.
But you& #39;ve continued to grow since then. You& #39;ve made friendships, you have good coworkers, maybe even married into another family and started your own. You& #39;ve accomplished things, big and small. You& #39;ve learned more about the world and your place in it.
It hurts, what happened when you were younger and it& #39;s okay to let it hurt. But you& #39;re also free to stop letting it have power over you. You& #39;re who you are now and not who you were then, and even then it wasn& #39;t your fault. You& #39;re pretty great actually.
Look at how far you& #39;ve come and the best things are still coming up. You& #39;re worth it and you& #39;re definitely good enough for every great thing and all of the love coming your way.
