I& #39;m always gonna be optimistic but fucking hell man, it& #39;s just really disappointing that Bernie dropped out and that many of the issues that we face will continue to not be addressed. They will eventually, which is why I have hope but ngl this is fucking sucks.
I remember after Super Tuesday I was so fucking angry, mostly because I knew that there are going to be people who will continue to get sick, suffer, and die, yet shaming and demanding accountability from the people who continue to let this system prosper didn& #39;t seem to work.
It& #39;s not even so much that these politicians refuse to address shit like the Prison Industrial Complex and the Military Industrial Complex. Corruption feels almost inherent to America& #39;s identity at this point. But any basic respect for humanity just seems so absent from them.
I remember watching a clip that @ThorHighHeels sent to me where Bernie is being interviewed and he mentioned how in Congress, you can bomb kids and you can incarcerate tens of thousands, but you can& #39;t say any bad words. And bro, I fucking felt that so much.
The fact that being angry at a system that continues to exploit millions and kill thousands, all for the benefit of some rich people, is seen as "too visceral" and "undiplomatic" fucking infuriates me beyond belief. I& #39;m sorry I sound angry, but I am and people should be too.
Because I insure you, I will lose sleep thinking about all of this and I guarantee you that these politicians, neo libs, and conservatives won& #39;t lose any sleep. Yet, neo libs will continue to say that we have to elect Biden because he& #39;s more electable than Trump.
The dude who promised supporters that nothing will change under his administration, the dude who is accused of sexual assault, and the dude who constantly sounds and acts like he& #39;s a day away from being diagnosed with dementia.
Democrats are saying "Yeah, elect this guy. Because he& #39;s not Trump". Which... look... I would rather pick out someone that I saw on the street than Trump. But voting for the lesser of two evils doesn& #39;t feel right to me anyway, especially if they promise not to change anything.
But besides the fact that voting for someone who sexual assaulted someone is egregious to begin with, you& #39;re trying to convince other people who don& #39;t vote blue to vote for your fucking nominee.
The Democrats want to shame us into voting for someone simply because they have the Democrat label, because if you don& #39;t vote for this guy then you are keeping a racist in power and you don& #39;t want that. Instead pick our racist! We should be the ones shaming them instead.
This isn& #39;t even mentioning all the fucking pseudo democracy bullshit America keeps perpuating with the delegate system and voter suppression. That and how Bernie is the most popular candidate yet the news media and compared him to the Nazis. But this thread is already long jesus.
