If you're a performer and you do not own your performer name as a URL, please buy it. It's $12/yr at most. Add/enable privacy protection. Redirect to your OF, MV, etc. Then use the URL later if you have your own paysite. If you need me to walk you through it, I will.

Steps:
Go to a domain market like WhoIs or NameCheap. Buy the domain & make sure to buy/enable Privacy Protection aka WhoIs Guard. Click to "manage" your domain. Where it lists a Redirect, type in the destination URL (OF, etc). Check WhoIs to ensure privacy protection is on. Go!

If you don't plan on creating a website and you only want to use the URL as a redirect, you do NOT need to purchase website hosting.

If, at some point in the future, you decide to have your own website, you buy hosting, create the website, then delete the redirect.

Buy as many domains as you want for variations of your name. You do not have to redirect them. You don't have to use them. It's just good to have them.
