There are lots of different people responding to Bernie dropping out today. There are campaign staff, they have their own thing to deal with. There are Bernie-haters, that's just like every day. But If you're a regular Bernie supporter here's what I encourage you to do today...
Just let go of Bernie. Let go of the ideas you built up about the campaign, about the candidate, about the movement over the last 5 years. Let go. This isn't giving up, it's releasing the attachment we have to outcomes and plans. It's a good feeling, not a loss. It's freedom.
Let go of your hatred for Biden, while still knowing his record, while still understanding the issues. This doesn't mean supporting him at all, it means letting go of that knot in your body that makes you miserable when you think about him. Let go of Biden, for yourself.
Let go of your hatred for Trump. While still recognizing that his actions are harmful, and seeing clearly the truth of everything he does. Just let go of the idea that he holds power over us, power over your future. Let go of Trump, for yourself.
Practice letting go of candidates, letting go of electoral politics, of the need to check in every minute and see what they're saying and doing. Let go of the political horserace. Let go of the news.

Breathe out and release the attachment you've built up to being so invested.
Let go of Fox News, and MSNBC, and CNN, and all the neoliberal pundits, and the angry podcast left, and everyone on here. Even if you agree with them. You don't need them. You don't need to be invested in any of that. Notice how unhappy it has made you. And let go of it.
Once you let go of the attachment to the political discourse, of the political reporting, of the trolling and clap backs and burns. Once you let go of that, you can feel a sense of freedom, of possibility.

What are you going to do with your day? Your week, your month and year?
Once you let go of all the baggage, how are you going to turn to your community. To your neighbour. How are you going to look right in front of you, at the people you see every week at the store, and work with them? Help them? Build networks of solidarity with your community?
What opportunities do you have where you are sitting or standing right now to help someone?

Who can you ask: What can I do for you today? And who can you ask for the help that you need in order to be able to get to the place where you can offer others help? Focus on that.
When you let go of the political storm online, let go of the media's ad-revenue driven obsession with the elections and politics, when you let go of all of that, you can start to understand more clearly what it might mean to build human solidarity rights now, where you are.
As you let go of the past, and let go of worry about the future, decide what influences you want in your life. Unfollow people, delete social media accounts that don't make you happy, turn off the news.

The social is where you are. The news is your community, right now.
You have the tools and means to build happiness, peace, solidarity, and security for your community. In your hands right now. You don't need any politicians, pundits, academics, leaders or anyone to make that happen. You have compassion, love, and the will to act. That's enough.
Today, give yourself the freedom of letting go of attachment to outcomes, letting go of the idea that happiness is going to come from anything outside of you. Give yourself the freedom of holding onto your desire to help everyone while letting go of the desire to control anyone.
