you know what’s fucked up?? the moment i was able to grasp an understanding of prejudice, i was calling businesses and doing my moms over the phone work. Solely because we knew they’d treat me better because i don’t have an accent.

time after time we’d call the same places and they’d treat me with the UTMOST respect while basically tuning my mom out from the beginning. Fuck You.

my mom is so insecure about her state of being because over the 19 years she’s lived in the u.s. niggas treated her like SHIT.

this woman doesn’t even TRY anymore. businesses will fuck shit up, get her order wrong, and she refuses to call them back and complain bc she thinks they won’t do anything.

don’t even get me started on the real estate business. I have to do all of the house hunting, and set up appointments because people refuse to get back to her. they refuse to respond. all of a sudden though, when i call the house is automatically vacant.

she is constantly in a state of apathy because she’s just accepted that this is how her life will be, and i wanna beat someone’s ass for it.
