If you really "understand the urgency of this moment," then maybe you should actually make an honest attempt to reach out to Bernie supporters. From who I've talked with, many Bernie supporters won't support you because you refuse to support us.

You refuse to care about the issues we care about, at least not to the extent we do. You refuse to kick your addiction to the corruption and big money. You refuse to tell the truth, face your record and tell us why you were wrong and why we should trust you'll do better.

Furthermore, you refuse to even respond to Tara Reade's disturbing allegation against you. It's been two weeks. I get it, we're in the middle of a pandemic that probably dominates everyone's thought process, but that's no excuse to be silent and not even say a word about it.

Look, Joe (or "fat," as you'd say), you're not entitled to my vote. Or to anyone else's. And while I can't speak for them, I can tell you what you can do to earn my vote, and it's very easy.

- Prove that Tara's allegation is untrue.
- Pick Nina Turner as your running mate.

- Stop holding fundraisers with lobbyists/execs, fire all your lobbyist staffers, disavow the Super PACs supporting you, and commit to fighting to get money out of politics (no, just overturning Citizens United does not count).

Just something to consider, Joe.

But I know you won't. You'll just keep doing what you're doing now. And if you win, it'll be in spite of all that and not because of it. Because if we weren't in the middle of a pandemic that probably will crash the economy, you'd be toast.

Again, I can't speak for my fellow Berners, but I think you'd be in a much better position to win if you do those three things, as well as laying out the areas where you're clearly better than Trump (Supreme Court, gun reform, etc.). Again, though, you're not going to.

So here we are, in the middle of a pandemic, and with an economy likely about to be in shambles. And we know that neither one of the two major-party candidates will adequately prevent something like this from ever happening again, nor fight to fix all other societal ills.

Joe, as your former boss said, you didn't have to do this. But you are. You are, and I don't even think you know why you're doing it. You're in way over your head with this one, and I recommend you make some changes fast, or it's not gonna be pretty, not for you, not for us.
