@DRahul98 You asked, how I view Indic philosophy? Honestly,
I am no expert to answer. Nonetheless, for your sincere quest I shall try. Instead of looking Indic philosophy alone letโ€™s see Eastern and Middle Eastern Philosophies (specifically Abrahamic Religions) side-by-side. https://twitter.com/RoshaniRustomji/status/1245936249489088512
2/n
Fundamental tenets of Abrahamic Religions suggests that genesis of these Religions is in emancipation of a group from (real/perceived) oppression of another and Moses's Exodus, Hijra by Mohammad or mysterious adolescence and sudden appearance of adult Jesus substantiate it.
3/n
Therefore identity and control/regulation of collective behavior of the group become pursuit for Abrahamic Religions.

Whereas, in East, invariably all:Krishna, Buddha, Jain, Meera, or far Eastern Zen, Shinto, Tao chi, Confucian, focus on individuals' liberation from "self".
4/n
Fundamental and chaotic departure of pursuits of philosophies yields dramatic results.

In Middle East the pursuit results in organized religion and a tool to govern and rally the masses.

Whereas in East, it renders word "religion" utterly meaningless, or at least debatable.
5/n
One wonders, why in Middles East Religions govern and in East its definition is debated. The answer may be hidden in profiles of those who were leading the philosophies in respective regions and also profiles of those who are subscribing to these philosophies.
6/n
Looking at messages reveals insight about the profiles. E.g. Ten Commandments, fundamental to all Abrahamic Religions. On the face of it, the tenets are utterly rudimentary and basic. They are directed towards "the Other". The Middle East finds them profound and out worldly.
7/n
An utterly primitive society, will find barring by Moses the natural and primate behavior of k!lling, lying, adultery etc. profound. For Krishna these are immaterial and are just โ€œLeelaโ€ and Buddha is step ahead says Mataram-Pitaram Hantva(k!ll mother and father)Dhammpad 294.
8/n
There must be some reason for Moses and Christ to make such embryonic commandments, guilt, sin, and savior the Messiah so foundational.

Buddha and Krishan must have audience with advance intellect and counterintuitive abilities to decipher not so visceral message.
9/n
In !slam the Kalma/Al-Fatihah recites denial, inferiority and exclusion as corner stone, followed by Surah-e-Nisha, one of largest chapters that discusses affairs ilk property/women. Issues like property and family affairs get writ of Divine. And this overwhelms audience.
10/n
In East, issues ilk property etc. are considered mundane and material and are left on collective wisdom/compilations which are open for adaptation and legislation based on whats' call Desh-Kal-Paristhiti, Place-Time-Circumstances. Writ of Divine could not be wasted for them.
11/n
The Divine in East has bigger problem, that is the doubt weather He/She has any Writ of Divinity at all. Thus, No God, I am God, 330 Mil. Gods, everyone is a God etc all ideas find place in East. Diversity and veracity show profile, intellect and quest of East's Philosophers.

Rahul, hope ๐Ÿ‘†helps, I stop here and not dwell further in political, social and finer spiritual aspects, as I am aware Twitter is an indulgence for quick gratification. Long thread is counterproductive as attention deficiency is norm than exception on twitter.
