Ultra Leftists and Anarchists will be gloating today to show this as proof you shouldn't participate in electoral politics at all. They're idiots and they have absolutely no plan or strategy. They just love watching the Left lose. 1 loss doesn't change the need for participation.

I personally won't vote for Biden. He's too bad of a candidate and I live in a solid red state. My vote in November is meaningless. I won't tell any individual not to do what they think is best. Do what you feel comfortable with.

While we do still need to participate in electoral Politics I think the question of how we do this and should we put more emphasis on non-electoral politics/organizing is very important. We absolutely put too many eggs in the electoral basket.

For electoral politics I think it's become rather clear that winning the Democratic Presidential Primary is an obstacle we are not up to overcome yet. Bernie's campaign did however bring millions on board to at least being open to Left-wing politics. I just don't know who follows

I think we need much stronger focus on down ballot and local races than the presidency though. We should be trying to win as many local offices as possible. These are positions we can win if we organize to do so. Building that base will provide us a better chance overall

Most importantly, we need to rebuild the labour movement and that means union organizing. We need to do everything possible to rebuild that and get as many workers as possible organized. We will win more material gains through this than we ever could through elections.
