InCryptid (Hugo Nominee, Best Series, 2020) is an urban fantasy family epic spanning generations and continents in a universe where basically all creatures from folklore and legend exist...or did at one time.
Many species have been wiped out by the Covenant of St. George, an organization of human monster-hunters dedicated to preserving the world for humans by killing anything they view as not having been "on the Ark."
The series follows the adventures of the Price family (originally the Healy family) after they separate from and turn against the Covenant, fighting to keep the world safe for everyone, not just for the people with the biggest guns.
Chronologically, we begin with the story of Jonathan Healy and Frances Brown, which starts in "The Flower of Arizona," originally published in WESTWARD WEIRD. This anthology is still in print; the story will be included in the Hugo Voter's Packet.
Johnny and Fran's story is finished, and most of it is available to read for free on my website, at: http://seananmcguire.com/icshorts.php#j&f

The pieces not available for free are called out by anthology, and all stories are presented in reading order on the site.
