(Thread) This week we bought $2000+ in gift cards from local specialty run stores from across the country. Here is what I learned:
#1: Make this process as easy possible. Often it was hard to find the option and a few times it was unavailable.
1/3
#2: Always try to make an e-card option. Some only had physical gift cards that had to be mailed.

#3: Love the homemade and unique nature of run store websites, but this online space will become more important as a window into your biz. Keep it clean & still have fun
2/3
#4: Bought a bunch of @fleetfeet gift cards because they were the preferred stores by a bunch our contest winners. Love FF, but would be cool if I could have attributed the purchase to that specific store.
3/3
(Bonus) All in all this is a great time for specialty run retail to clean up the house on the digital front. Right now in run events we're quickly learning that we can be much better at virtual events, webinars, social/web. Same goes for retail. 4/3. #runlocal ya'll!
